Match Table Grid question type needed

In Texas, we are facing a new state-wide assessment with new question types. Our students will take these tests in Spring 2023 and need practice with these question types and our teachers need to be able to create questions of those new types.  One of the new item types is called "Match Table Grid" and is described as "Student matches statements or objects to different categories presented in a table grid" (see attached example).  Is there a way to create a table with answer choices in Canvas?

Does the question absolutely have to look like a table?  If not, why not convert this to a few multiple-answer questions?  For example, in your attached table, you have essentially three rows of questions...each with the same three choices.  So, if you were using the New Quizzes interface, you could create a stimulus question and include the paragraph that students have to read.  You'd then have the three multiple answer questions next to it.  Here's an example I quickly put together in my own sandbox course:

What do you think of something like this?  Students are still answering the same questions...it is just displayed in a different format.

@Chris_Hofer no, that would not resolve the concern.  Our students have not seen questions formatted like this before and will see them on the STAAR test which is the accountability test for Texas. For this reason, we need to give them opportunities to practice so that they know how to answer the question when the answer choices are presented in a table.

No this format will not work. Can Canvas create a quiz that will exemplify a Match Table Grid? Another program called Formative has it but I would love to see Canvas build it and incorporate it into New Quizzes
