Modules not visible to students

How can I ensure the Modules can be viewed by students? In my course the Modules section is greyed out. In student view Modules is not visible. Modules are loaded into the student view in the Navigation section and all items in the Modules are published.

I have the same problem and yes I have published each item AND the module.  Still not visible

You say that everything inside the modules are published, but are the modules themselves published?  In the example below you can see that the items are published, but the module names Materials is not.

same problem here.  i had to go to SETTINGS, disable MODULES, save, then enable MODULES, and save again.  it finally became visible

I tried what you all said: disabled, saved, enabled, saved. Nothing is working; it's still not visible to my students. Any advice?

Hello @Amalee ...

To be absolutely sure, please check your "Modules" page.  Are the modules AND the content items within your modules all published with the green check-mark icon?  If that is all good, go back to your "Settings" >> "Navigation" tab, and then try moving your "Modules" button to a different location temporarily.  Then, save your changes.  Did that help at all?

If none of those things work, you may need to contact the Help Desk staff at Instructure so that they can take a look at your course with you to see what might be going on.
