My Grades frequently do not "stick"

My time is spent grading everything twice these days! 

I grade either in speedgrader or in the main grading window but when I refresh my window, NONE o the grades have stuck and show again as ungraded. It's so frustrating and does not happen all the time just 50% of the time. I feel I am spending 2x as long grading. Has been going on all year and also last year at a different school...

I am sorry you are having issues with grading. I understand how frustrating it can be. There can be several reasons why this may be happening. Have you tried the following:

• Make sure you are using the most updated Chrome Browser
• Clear your browser's cache
• Check or reboot your internet connection
• Shutting down and restarting your computer

In addition to the above, something to consider is if you notice when and where this is happening. For example, does this happen while using your institution's network or at home? I also, recommend creating a support ticket. Every institution has different ways of accessing canvas support. Here is an article on how to contact canvas support.
