[ARCHIVED] New Analytics Missing Resources in Filter List

Hi there, I am looking to use New Analytics to identify students who are not effectively using the resources posted in Canvas Modules.

I noticed that when trying to "Message Students Who" had not viewed particularly valuable resources, many of them were not listed in the filter criteria.

Are there only certain categories that get included in that list, or is there a way to manually add specific resources (External URLs, Videos, Files, etc) to that list of filtering options?

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but have you reviewed the information in this Guide: How do I send a message to all students based on s... - Canvas Community?  Also, have you tried reaching out to the folks at the Canvas Help Desk to see if they might be able to help troubleshoot why you are not seeing some of the items in your course within the filter of New Analytics?  They might be able to log in to your course with you to see what may or may not be going on.  You can contact the Help Desk by following the information in this Guide: How do I contact Canvas Support? - Canvas Community.  Please come back to this topic to provide an update once you talk with them so we know how your issue was resolved.  Thanks.  Take care...be well.
