New Analytics course average is wrong

I  was trying to find the course total average (this used to be easy in old canvas gradebook) and viewed the New Analytics page. There I observed that for several students, their course total average was different from what is displayed on my Grades page. How is this possible?

Hi @lorraine_carey -

I can understand how that would be frustrating. There may be a delay with some of the data available in New Analytics. At the top of What is New Analytics?, some of the timelines are described. I hope this helps you a little! When I had questions regarding New Analytics as a teacher, I often checked in first thing on the first day of a school week after everything had a chance to catch up. 🙂
