New Discussion Design Is Not Printer Friendly

I have become used to printing out my instructions and rubric as I need them in front of me and find it difficult to go back and forth in the computer tabs especially when I have to leave the learning materials page just to go back and re read what I am doing on another page. This new design to the discussion page only allows to print what is viewable on screen as though I took screenshot and printed it whereas before it would print out the entire page from initial post instructions, response instructions, to rubric. The new design has made getting work done incredibly difficult and frustrating! Please bring back the old design! Please!

The new page is genuinely terrible. I opened a ticket with Canvas last week as a bug report but haven't been replied to yet. I'm a student and can't get the page to load well enough to reply to other comments.
