New Quiz score doesn't match SpeedGrader score.

One instructor uses New Quizzes to build many of his assignments. The percent score given in the New Quiz is not the same as the percent score in the SpeedGrader.  This seems to be happening for almost all of his assignments.  It makes grading in Canvas almost impossible.

Can you provide the information on the percentages for the scores.  I am wondering if the percentages mentioned are actually the points.  You have to be careful with new quizzes, because the quiz score can be set different from the total points on the questions of the quiz.  For example I can set the score on the quiz to 10 and then have 15, 1 point questions on the quiz.  If a student gets 12 out of 15 questions correct for a score of 12, what will show in speed grader and the grade book for the score on the quiz will be 8 points (or 80% of 10 points) not the 12 from the questions.

I have both speedgrader and gradebook set for points, out of 150 and the student points are different! What do I do?
