Not all 'Fill In Multiple Blanks' options being shown after submitting/previewing quiz

I have a tutor who is having students fill out matrices using Canvas quizzes, specifically Fill In Multiple Blanks questions.

Ignoring that there exists better ways to do this, we've found that after Previewing the quiz as a staff member, or allowing students to view correct answers after finishing the quiz, that not all correct answers are being shown. For example, the below question has 6 blanks, but only 5 are being shown in the answer list. Is this a known issue, and are there ways around it?

Just to dig this one up - we found that the opening square bracket in the equation was conflicting with the square brackets used to indicate where a blank should go!

Hi.  Did you find out a way of getting Canvas to ignore the opening square bracket (like by using a back slash or something like that), so that you could still display the opening square bracket without Canvas thinking that it was used to indicate where a blank should go?
