Notifications for Twin Students

We have several parents in our district who have twin students in the system. Many of these students have similar classes with similar assignments. When parents receive notifications letting them know that an assignment has been graded, observers struggle to know which student the grade or assignment belongs to. How can observers distinguish between students for these notifications?

There is an option within your Notification Settings that will help you! This lesson will walk you through the process: How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an observer? 

The magic little checkbox next to Show name of observed students in notifications will help you a lot, especially with the courses in which both of your children are enrolled.
