Hi, I have turned off notifications in every course. No longer wanting daily or weekly notifications. The notifications are turned off in according to student's account; however my email continues to receive notifications. I have followed the canvas guidelines and they were not helpful. Can you assist me with this? I was an observer on my daughter's account.

I apologize that you are seeing some issues with notifications. 

It sounds like your email address is still set up for receiving notifications somewhere in your institutions Canvas account. 

You can check for notification settings on two Levels in Canvas as a student or observer. You can check the account notifications and you can also setup notifications preferences on the course level.

Do you know if your personal email adress is set up on your student's account at all as a contact method? if so, this could be one reason and you would just need to remove it as a contact method, if needed. 

Are the notifications that are coming through for a specific course that your daughter is taking?

Hi, it is my personal email contact. When I go to her canvas account; however, my contact is not listed just her school contact. I have went under account notifications, contacts and each course level. All notifications seem to be turned off.  Again, I am not seeing my email listed on her account. I do recall setting up an account using my personal as an observer. I am receiving all notifications from each course and weekly notifications. Thank you for your assistance.
