[ARCHIVED] One student's grade total not visible

I have entered all of my student's final grades in canvas and all is well except that I can't make one student' total grade visible to her.  It is saying that there are some assignments for which a grade has not been entered;.  All of her assignments have been graded and the grades are entered.  The only discrepancy I can find is that for one assignment she did not submit through Canvas but through email, so there is no document submitted to Canvas.  A grade has been entered through speed grader and comments were entered there as well.  Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with a student's final grades not  appearing. It sounds like you've checked and they should certainly be like the rest of the class. The issue may be the assignment without a submission.In the gradebook, is there a real  grade or does it display  the speedgrader icon?  If so, go to the speedgrader and check there aren't any scores that need to be entered and updated. This could differentiate if it is an assignment or quiz (enter points for the missing question and update) Besides that, Canvas may need more specifics to identify and resolve the issue.

Hi @OrlandoFang ,

I assume that you're a student taking a class. I would suggest that you check SIS for your final grade. At many colleges, Canvas and SIS are separate systems.

I teach at a community college, and my students submit their work on Canvas. At the end of the semester, they will see their final grade percentage. However, Canvas doesn't show their final grades. I enter their final grades separately in SIS.

If you don't see your final grade in SIS, then contact your instructor.
