Opening PPTX file in discussions on Canvas

I am unable to open a pptx slideshow posted by the instructor in Discussions. A blank tab opens on my computer.

Have you reached out to your instructor about the link to your PowerPoint presentation/slideshow?  Canvas Community members don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or any of your courses.  We wouldn't be able to help directly to get the link to work for you.  You can contact your instructor within Canvas by checking out the instructions in this link:
