I am creating a new campus-based course which will be exclusively for mature adult learners. The structure of the course consists of one VLE (Canvas) page per class and there are 10-36 classes per course. Our institution has a 'learning' model which they claim is based on research, but they can't/don't/won't cite any sources. I have tried to apply this in the past and find it to be labelled in a way that seems too childish nor does it suit a flipped classroom.
My new course allows me to break with this approach.
I wondered if anyone has any VLE page structures that are evidence-based for adult learners?
I realise that this might be a bit specific, but examples of layouts used for flipped classrooms or for adult-learners, would be of interest.
Many thanks, Graham
