Pointer

Does anyone know if Canvas supports a pointer system, like PowerPoint? I suffer from RSI and this would be an invaluable tool.

You would have to request that as a feature request, but I do not know if it would be possible to build that feature into Canvas.

By the way, I had no idea what you were talking about, so one quick google search and now I have learned something new and will be using in the future - so thanks for posting the question.  for those reading this and don't know about the laser pointer feature in power point, go into the slide presentation mode or reader view.  Then hold down the control key and press and hold the left mouse button - this creates a laser point on the slides.

Thanks for the response... I will put in a request. Using a laser clicker pointer is really effective and especially for those of us who suffer from using computers too much, it would be really helpful!

Seeing that you are a New Member here in the Community, you might not yet be able to create a Feature Idea.  This was a recent change that was made by Canvas Community Managers.  In order to create Feature Ideas, you need to "rank up" (similar to "leveling up" in games).  You can read more about how this all works in:
