Preview Matching Item in Quizzes

If it is a known issue that quotation marks with in the text of a matching quiz breaks the quiz and results in a blank screen or a white screen (reference QUIZ-8620),

then why is this not mentioned in the matching quiz item documentation?

A simple caveat or footnote in the RCE statement would save instructors and students a good deal of stress and disruption when attempting to utilize matching items in New Quizzes.

We appreciate your feedback. As a rule, we do not include known issues (bugs) in our documentation. Some can be found in the Known Issues space. Not including known issues focuses our documentation on features and helps us to keep our documentation up to date as those issues are fixed.

I get that, keeping documentation current is a challenge.

Are there any other characters/special characters that are not acceptable for use in the matching items? 

Are there any considerations around the use of Copy and Paste to populate the fields in the match items?
