Quiz Has No Time Limit But Shows Countdown

Hello, I am taking a quiz for a class with no time limit (before screenshot). When I started the quiz, there was a countdown timer in the right-hand section. Does this countdown have another meaning? Why would the elapsed time be counting down (after screenshot)? This same issue occurred in another class with a quiz that had a due date a week in the future and showed the same amount of time. I appreciate your help!

I have not taken any quizzes yet, would like to know the count down time too.

@ConnorK1 I believe the count down is telling you how long you have to take it before the "Until" time hits.  When that until time hits, you will be locked out of the quiz, so while there is no official time limit, you are limited by when the quiz shuts off.
