Is it possible to use both a rating scale rubric and free-form comments that save (much like the saved comments in the free-form rubric)? Unless I'm overlooking something, it currently seems to be one or the other. The ability to have both would be a huge QoL improvement.

You are correct in your assessment. You get to save comments for the comment submission box below the rubric. However, there are no saved comments for the individual rubric criteria comments. Not sure if there are any plans to implement that feature, but setting up that feature is probably a lot more involved (just a guess on my part) than saving comments for the general comments box.

Hello @momwatts
You should be able to leave rubric comments and also free form or regular assignment comments within the speedgrader on the right side underneath the rubric. Once you fill out the comments in the rubric, make sure you save them. In addition to that you can also leave comments on the assignment - make sure you save those as well.

Thank you for your reply! I might not have presented my question clearly. I've included a screenshot of the comments I'm referring to that do not autosuggest from a saved bank. When I type in that box, there is no option to save, unlike the free-form rubric and comments at the bottom of the assignment.
