Regarding Summer/Fall semester course start date

I am supposed to start semester 2 and end it by August 12th. However, the course says it starts at the 13th. Is there a way I can start the course early? I have to skip algebra 2.

I'd recommend reaching out to your instructor directly or contact your school's Canvas administrator(s)...which can typically be in their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education (or similar name) department.
