Removing assignment from Grade Sync

Is there a way to completely remove assignments from Grade Sync view? They are assignments that have scored and unpublished from the previous quarter. (and in my current quarter)  I don't want to delete the assignment entirely as it has student scores attached to it.

Thanks for posting this in the global Canvas Community! 

• Depending on your SIS(Student information system) that is being used at your institution, I believe that you can disable the 'Sync To SIS' option in the assignment settings, from the edit screen. This should make it so that when you perform a grade sync, that assignment and the students scores are no longer being synced over to your SIS. I recommend doing this for any older assignments from previous grading periods/quarters. 
• For any assignments you want included in the grade sync, you'll want to make sure that setting is enabled.
