Resetting student attempt on quiz

I had a “quiz” in Canvas.

4 of my students have started the quiz.

It had the setting “Shuffle Questions” turned on.

I did not want Shuffle Questions turned on.

I changed the settings and turned off the shuffle questions setting.

However, Canvas did not unshuffle the questions for the students that had already started the assignment.

My questions:

• How can I delete their attempt and have them restart the assignment? Hopefully, it will unshuffle questions on second attempt.
• Also, for the students that had not start the assignment, will it use the Shuffle Questions setting or the Unshuffled setting?

Does the "quiz" have a time limit configured?

If it does, it will automatically submit when the time limited has been reached.

If it does not, the  How do I manually submit outstanding student quiz ... - Instructure Community - 808  support article explains how you can submit any outstanding quiz attempts.  If you are using New Quizzes instead of (Classic) Quizzes, the steps are described in the "Manually Submit In-Progress Attempts" section of  How do I moderate a student's quiz attempt in New ... - Instructure Community - 655 .
