Respondus LockDown Browser is asking to be downloaded

When students try to log in to take a quiz, the lockdown browser often freezes up, doesn't work, or says, "You need to download lockdown browser,". Students are using Chromebooks.  Sometimes after multiple attempts, and exiting the browsers, they are successful, but not all the time. Some see the Rocketship "Assessment Loading" Page, but some do not.


Respondus suggestion is to select the "Rocketship" to deploy the assessment but hta does not always work. We are using the current version of Respondus. This issue has been ongoing for 4-6 weeks, has anyone else encountered this issue?
