Hello,
If I have a specific HTML Snippet that needs to be on every course Home Page in Canvas, is there a way to save it or create a 'Super Snippet' which can be reused instead of copying the code repeatedly? And if there is, how do you add it to the snippet drop down menu? Like a customised snippet?
An example is a 'Welcome to country' HTML snippet.
If you have done this before or tried please let me know how. Any help will be appreciated.
Canvas doesn't natively have the capability to employ HTML snippets - that would be a feature of a third party platform such as DesignTools or similar. If there was code that you wanted to render on every page, you can upload an external CSS or Javascript document to the Theme Editor. However, you might still need to manually reference the CSS on each Canvas page, depending on the code (e.g. classes).
Here is a basic overview of how to modify the Theme Editor.
