Hi everyone,
I'm a Canvas admin. I recently learned of the Scheduler appointment group feature. I have checked with my institution's CSM and verified that the feature is enabled in our instance. I would love to be able to tell our instructors that they can use this feature for appointments. Our CSM referred me to the guide for instructors for creating appointments,
In my test course, when I log in as admin (which has a teacher role in the course) I can create a group appointment and save it to the course's calendar, as in the first screenshot I've attached.
However, when I log in using a test user that has been added as student to the course, I am unable to see the available appointments. According to the guide for students, there should be a Find Appointment field in the Calendar sidebar. However this field does not exist. The course name shows up as an option (shown in blue in the second screenshot) but there is no Find Appointment field.
Is there something else that I need to do as admin to enable this feature?

In student view students need to click Find Appointment and select the course. Once they do that the appointments will display on the calendar. The Find appointment is in the your second screen shot.

For the first time, I have a student that has this problem. The "find appointment" doesn't show up for them. So they can't see the appointments because there is no button to click. So strange. Trying to find a reason why. They can access everything in Canvas so that's not an issue and they have selected the calendar for my course, but the button isn't showing up.

When I look at the light blue box at the top of this student Guide, it says the Scheduler tool needs to be enabled by your institution.

You might need to have a conversation with your school's Canvas administrator or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning team to see if they have enabled this for everyone at your school.

Thanks for the quick reply. As far as I am aware we have enabled it. I have used the feature for the last two years. I can't imagine they disabled it this summer. Also, when I am in student view of my course site, I do see the Find Appointment button and when I click it I do see the available appointments I have input. A I had last semester and will also have this semester just let me know that they can't see the button either. At least now I know it is an issue for all my students, but still means I need to figure out what the issue is.
