Hello,
I have been using Canvas for a few years now and this year I'm seeing some strange Speedgrader behavior for quizzes. In past years I would see that a quiz had been completed and was ready for me to mark questions that need to be marked manually (i.e., essay questions). This year, partial grades are being shown immediately after the student submits the quiz, even though there are still questions to be graded by "hand". What has changed and how can I stop this from happening because I'm getting lots of emails from worried students.
I should also mention that normally I don't hide grades until I start marking because in the past there were no grades to hide. Now grades are being seen as soon as a quiz is submitted and before I even have a chance to hide them. Should I just set all the assignments to "manual" at the beginning of the course?
