Student Enrollment Notification-CSV Upload

We are getting ready to do a CSV upload of users, courses, and enrollments. We have are authenticating through SAML. We have the user file set for no notification so that we can send out an email with clear instructions for use.

Will users still receive a course enrollment email though, with this type of upload? Ideally, no notification would be sent to users, so that we could send out the information ourselves.

Hi @emilyrs,

The only way a user would be notified about an enrollment done via SIS CSV upload would be if you explicitly create a notify "column" in your CSV and set the value to true for enrollment "rows".  Without explicitly creating that column and setting the values to true, no enrollment notification will be generated.
