Student feedback via assignment function when students did not submit
Hello
Our students do an observed OSCE and so we provide feedback to each student via a words document.
Is it possible to return this to the student via the assignment features rather then email out individual feedback to each student?
Thanks

You can attach a document in the Comment area of the SpeedGrader. Would that suit your purposes?

Sorry, I submitted too soon. You could set up an Assignment in Canvas and select No Submission as the Submission Type. That option informs students that they don't need to turn in anything on Canvas, but it still creates an Assignment in the Gradebook and provides a way for you to give feedback. THEN you can use the Comment box to attach a Word file (or any other file) if desired.
The No Submission option is specially designed for oral presentations, performances, and other activities that are assessed live in the classroom.
