Students editing original. Where's their copy?
I think I am following the directions correctly when uploading an assignment through the Google Cloud Drive option via the "External tool". Everything uploads correctly, which is great!! However, when the students click on the "Blue Lettering" of the titled Google Slides assignment, ALL of my students are editing the SAME Google Slides assignment. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you!!!!

Hello there, @mhouston8818 ...
I am sorry to see that your question hasn't been answered yet here in the Community. When you create a Google Cloud Assignment, the document that you link to (from your own account) will ultimately not be the same as the one that each of your students submit back to you. The Google Cloud Assignment, by design, creates a copy of your document, and it saves that document into each of the students' own Google accounts...so that they can edit and modify that copy in their own account. Check out these Guides:
- How do I create a cloud assignment with a Google Drive file?
- How do I submit a cloud assignment with Google Drive?
I hope this will be of help to you. Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks! Take care...be well.
