It would be very helpful if, when inserting a saved comment from the Comment Library when using SpeedGrader, the new comment did not erase everything already in the Comments window. That way we could stack the appropriate comments as needed. I need to comment different things to different students. It really makes the Comment Library almost useless. To make it work I would have to have a library of all possible combinations of comments created and then find the correct combo that works for the current student and insert it. Not sure why it was built this way even to start with.

Hi @KirstenThomson ...
Thanks for posting your comments here. Unfortunately, this isn't the exact place to submit your ideas for improvements to Canvas. Fortunately, though, I can point you to the correct areas to do this. However, do know that the entire feature idea process is undergoing some changes these days, but you can still submit your ideas so that they can be evaluated at a later time. While I don't know exactly what that new process will look like, I'm hopeful that it will be beneficial for everyone. For starters, you'll want to read through this blog post:

Then, you'll want to review these Guides:
I hope these links will be helpful for you. You may find that an existing idea already exists...in which case, you do not need to submit a new idea (to avoid duplication). But, if you do not find an idea that is similar to yours, go ahead and submit your idea. Good luck!

Thanks, I posted it to Canvas Ideas too. I am not sure a lot of people search through those, though, so I wanted to put it here too so that people who also thought it was a good idea could know about the idea.
@KirstenThomson ...
I completely understand. But, I'm glad to know that you also posted it to the Canvas Ideas space...as this is the correct area to ensure your idea(s) will get attention. I'm not sure what the new voting process will look like, but hopefully your idea will be available for voting when the new process is announced. Thanks!
I agree with this 100%. It's super frustrating to type a comment, then add one only to see your original disappear. I would also love to see it save separate lists of comments specific to each assignment. When they all get placed into one giant repository I end up with a hundred or more saved comments, which makes it harder to find the saved comment than it is to just retype it. And so I go back to saving them all in a separate document. Saving comments is a neat idea but needs some improvement to actually be useful.
