TA says they are dropped from course but I can see they're active?

I have a TA who sent me a screenshot showing that one of the courses they are enrolled in says they have been dropped from course. However, I can see they are still active for the course when I look as an admin.

What could be the reason for this?

Was this a temporary enrollment by any chance?  How do you enroll TA's?  Maybe you should masquerade as the TA and see what they see.  Are they using the mobile app?

It would be good to understand what your TA means by dropped, is there a screen image to view? Sometimes, courses are not visible on a dashboard if a person is enrolled in a number of courses, so they need to select their favourites through their navigation menu. 

Another alternative is they have 'been dropped' from the organsation however, Canvas does not update enrolments that have been withdrawn or ceased in an active course. Any of these users needs to be deactivated manually.
