Trouble connecting google drive with web services

I can't connect my google drive to canvas. The guides say to select google drive under "other services" in my settings page. There's nothing to click under "other services". I've tried on Firefox desktop and Chrome mobile, and they both have the same problem. The android app doesn't seem to even have the ability to connect to web services.

I don’t think you are missing anything, to be honest.  The Google Drive web service that you are looking for is something that would first need to be enabled by your school’s Canvas administrator or someone from your school’s Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department.  It’s a setting that is on for all users in your Canvas environment account or no users at all in your Canvas environment.  So, it’s quite possible that your school has not enabled this particular option…which is why you may not see it as an option on your screen.  The instructions for how to enable this at the Canvas account (administrative) level are located at:

You would want to have a conversation with folks at your school who administrate your Canvas environment to see if they have enabled this or not.  And, if not, would they be willing to enable it for you and for everyone else who uses Canvas at your school.
