Trying to embed a google slide

Hello! I am trying to embed a Google Slide into a Canvas page. I am watching YouTube videos on how to do it, however, my Canvas page does not have the HTML editor link. There is no right side menu at all either. I am on a MacBook and it does not show using Safari or Google Chrome.

Thanks for providing the helpful screenshot. You can switch to the HTML Editor by clicking on the </> symbol that displays at the bottom right of the text editor.
