Hi there, @DonaldJedlovec ...
This usually means that you have a redish-orange/orange-ish-red "!" icon next to your e-mail address within your Canvas profile. You can see an example of this under the heading "Edit Settings" in either of these Guides:
- How do I change the settings in my user account as a student?
- How do I change the settings in my user account as an instructor?
If you click on the "!" icon, a message should appear on your screen which would allow you to re-send the confirmation message to your e-mail account so that you can verify it.
