Using Canvas on a Smart Board

Problem 1: I'm a science teacher and would like to collect student data after a lab. Previously, I'd use OneNote, and students would add their data via the Smart Board at the front of the room, and we'd see everyone's numbers. Is there a way to collect multiple student inputs in a single screen/chart/table?

Problem 2 (related): I'd like to post a practice problem on the Smart Board and then work through it. In OneNote, I had a section for in-class practice, which allowed all students to see all of the work. Is there a way to use Canvas to show hand-written work?

Hi @DANAHSI ...

I know there is a OneNote LTI Canvas integration.  Have you tried using that?  Full disclosure, I've not really used OneNote myself, so I don't really know the functionalities of it.  But, I wanted to share this link with you just in case:

My district is now discouraging the use of my beloved OneNote (since it's yet another app for students to use/access/learn), but maybe I can still use the Collaboration Space like I used to. 

I think I found a workaround: Creating a Collaboration in Canvas (with MS Word) and using it as a blank document.  Maybe I'd have a Collaboration for each class section, labs and in-class-practice. It'll be one long document for the term, but perhaps easier to navigate for the students?
