We are testing a self enrolled course which has three sections (A, B and C). Whenever our test students use the enrollment link they are automatically sent to section C.
Is there a way to indicate which section the student should be enrolled in via the enrollment link?
For example we might want to send a link to all the students in a particular club to enroll them in a section together. It would be great if we could generate an enrollment link for Section A and a different link for Section B etc.

Hi @jlhummel,
At this time, I don't believe this is a possibility in Canvas itself. The self-enroll link is just one per course, with basically no section awareness. As things are right now, you'd need to build/purchase some kind of front end to do registration and enrollment in the correct section instead of using the self-enroll feature. Having self-enroll at the section level is an interesting idea though, and one you can submit to Instructure for review as a future Canvas enhancement.
