I am a chemistry instructor and am attempting to build an assignment out of a quiz using the variables function. Your variables do not allow exponents to reach values up to 10^-14. This is a big handcuff for those of us working in pH/pOH, where questions routinely require students to reach negative exponents up to this value.
Can this functionality be added in an update?

Hello there, @JohnGodward ...
This sounds like a request for an enhancement to Canvas. Those kinds of requests should be submitted in the Ideas and Themes area here in the Canvas Community website. To get started, I recommend reading through the guides under the "Ideas and Themes" section:
Variables and decimal places, limits to negative e... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
You can then click on the blue "View and Submit Ideas" button on this page:
Canvas Ideas and Themes - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
And then, click on the blue "Submit an Idea" button on the next page.
Hopefully this is enough to get you started. Let Community members know if you have any questions. Thanks!
