View last edit date for an assignment

I am assuming there is not a direct way to see when an assignment was edited, like in pages, but I wanted to ask if there was a secret place like the "undelete" page. Sometimes, like today, I have an instructor that swears they didn't change an assignment and it would be lovely to be able to tell them when the change occurred. I can put this in suggestions if there is nothing now.

@Jul_Cro  Taking your questions in reverse order, the idea conversation that effectively encompasses what you're looking for is  Recover Assignment Page Past Edits (access to a form of version control). I'm not aware of a secret place where someone can view the history of a page edit; typically admins zero in on this by looking at the recent page views of the instructor in question.
