[ARCHIVED] What does “whoops! Something went wrong on our end,” mean?

Canvas has somehow managed to block access to my students assignments. Their apology for three days of no access is a stupid error message, “Whoops! Something went wrong on our end. Don’t worry, we’ve recorded this and will be taking care of it shortly.” This only confirms my suspicion that the engineers at Instructure have actually never been to college! They’re entrepreneurs, not academics! This is evidenced by the fact that they think that “shortly” is an acceptable equivalent to three days!!!
According to status reports, all systems are good. Teachers not being able to grade weekly assignments is a failure.

Hi @rich_leiter
Wow! That has got to be frustrating for you and your students!
Have you submitted a support ticket?
How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?
As a global community of Canvas users like yourself, we are unable to view and troubleshoot your issues in your courses.
Good luck,
Kelley
