When importing from a shell how can I have links automatically adjust to the new class shell?

Our campus gives us development shells.  I use course links to navigation tools, pages and modules.  How can I get these to automatically convert to the new shell?  I really don't want to go in and re link all those pages and assignments where I have course links.

 @cnunes , greetings! Any course links you create to other course content within the course will remain intact and working as long as you import the entire development course over into your live/real course. I also work at a school that does something similar and never had any problems with my links not working as long as the entire course was copied together.

Thank you for your response.  Do I need to export the 'dev' class and then import it to my live shell?  I have been going into the 'live' shell and copy course from my 'dev'.  I am assuming I am doing that incorrectly and should export and import?

This is what I did and I lost my course navigation links that were embedded in pages/assignments...I will chalk it up to having done something else incorrect  and try it again.
