Why are Wamap assignments suddenly not opening because they are unsecure?

I've copied assignments from an old course into a new one. They are assignments that link to Wamap and they have worked fine in the past, but now I get the message:

This launch was made insecurely (using http instead of https). WAMAP requires secure launches to protect student data. Please update the links or tool in the LMS to use https (aka SSL).

I can't change the links, as they were created by the app in Canvas behind the scenes. Thanks!
