I have recently discovered an issue and I'm hoping that some other admins will be able to confirm what I'm seeing. I have an instructor who noticed that his students were not receiving the Canvas Inbox messages he was sending them via email replies. Upon investigation, it appears that the native email app in Windows 10 does not respect the REPLY TO address in the message header. When the user tries to reply to the email notification, the reply is sent to notifications@instructure.com instead of reply+[LongStringOfLettersAndNumbers]@notifications.canvaslms.com. Due to this, the reply emails are not tracking back into Canvas, but getting lost in limbo after being sent to an "invalid" address.
Has anyone else had any experience with this issue, or can confirm it is happening to any other users?
Thanks!
