Word limits to essay answers?

Is there a way to limit answer lengths in Quizzes?

Thank you for submitting your question! Canvas New Quizzes has the ability to limit word count. Check out the Set Question Options step in this guide: How do I create an Essay question in New Quizzes?

I make the test in quizzes, which does’t look anything like “new quizzes” as far as I can tell. How do I limit word count in quizzes?
