Work in modules is not showing up in the assignments tab

Hi Everyone,

My school has created a self paced recovery course for students, and I am overseeing it. As such, they added me to this course that had already been designed by someone in the front office, and it doesn't quite touch on the material I find necessary for this course. I've added the modules that I think that are important for our curriculum, and unpublished the ones that are not, but when I click my assignments page only the assignments that were previously published in modules are showing up. I am having trouble copying over the quizzes in modules to the assignments page, short of providing an external link. I'd like to make it so when they click the assignment it takes them straight to the edgenuity page, on Canvas, which it does with the assignments that are already on there. How do I make this happen?

I'm sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here for quite a while without a response.  Have you been able to find a resolution to your question since you first posted this in January?  If so, what was the solution?  I'm not sure I totally understand your question.  Are you saying that some of your assignments that are listed on your "Assignments" index page (How do I use the Assignments Index Page? - Instructure Community) are not showing up on your "Modules" index page (How do I use the Modules Index Page? - Canvas LMS Instructor Guide)?  If so, you can simply add items to your "Modules" index page by following the steps in this Guide: How do I add course content as module items? - Instructure Community.

I realize I may have completely missed the boat and not interpreted your question correctly, so if this is the case, please provide some additional details (or even a screenshot or two...being careful not to show any student names/grades), and we can continue to work through the issue.  Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
