I'm trying to import my courses from last year and they don't show in the drop down menu of choices of courses to import.

If you can still get to the copy FROM course, look for the Canvas Course number in the URL -- something like .../courses/548956. Use that number to find the copy-from course instead of searching through a list. If you CANNOT get to the previous course, contact your admin, there may be some permission issues.

Do you know if you are still enrolled as the instructor in those past courses? Can you still access those past courses if you were to go to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen in Canvas?
