editing function disable

Hello, I am a student of taking 22/su-HCM-4401.

I have just finished Discussion 1 assignment and I want to edit my post.

However, it shows me that it is disable.

I asked this problem to my course instructor, but he didn't have a clue about it.

Could you check it for me, please?

@Youngmi323 It is probably best to reach out to your school's IT or Canvas support for this question.  This community is fellow Canvas users like yourself and we do not have access to your Canvas system to be able to assist.

I agree with @nwilson7 on this one.  Your instructor can control whether or not you and your classmates are allowed to edit discussion postings in your course.  Your instructor has a "Settings" menu (which you cannot see) that includes an option to "Let students edit or delete their own discussion replies".  It would be up to your instructor to decide to turn this option on/off.
