grades and unpublished

I made an assignment. It is graded. I unpublished it. Is the grade still counted in the tallies?

I'm honestly confused how you managed to unpublish an assignment that has graded assignment submissions, as once there are student submissions under an assignment or quiz you're not able to unpublish it, as mentioned in the guide here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-publish-or-unpublish-an-assignment-as-a....

I recommend checking to ensure you unpublished the correct assignment.

However, do keep in mind that any assignments that are unpublished are excluded from the gradebook.
