His assignment for INFORMATION TERCHNOLOGY is due at 16h00 today.

Unfortunately, this is a world wide forum for discussing general issues with Canvas.  We cannot help with school specific issues which is what your question sounds like.  You need to contact the instructor or Canvas Admins at the school to help with the matter.

You are not the first to mistake which link to use from the help link and there have been a few discussions on modifying what the help area looks like to make sure that people actually go to the write help location.
