Generally speaking, you would go to this year's course and select Settings > Import Existing Content > Content Type - Copy a Canvas Course.

I tried but cannot find the course, it only gives one option from 2014

Do you know if you are still enrolled in the course where you want to copy the content from? You may need to reach out to your school's Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department if you are not able to import (copy) content on your own from one course to another.
