I'm sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here unanswered since the end of August 2020. I am hopeful that you've been able to get logged in to Canvas by now. When I see or hear about questions about compatible browsers and Canvas, I usually tell people to use either an update version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Those two browsers seem to work fairly well when navigating around the Canvas environment. You can read more about this in the following Guide: What are the browser and computer requirements for Canvas?.
If you are experiencing issues connecting to Canvas with Google Chrome, then try downloading Mozilla Firefox (or vice versa).
