"New Quiz" Feature - Will it support the APIs like the Classic Quiz?

Canvas - Classic Quiz feature provides an extensive support with the APIs as documented here - https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/.

Considering that the "Classic Quiz" is going to be replaced with the "New Quiz" feature in the near future; 

1. Will it support the APIs similar to the Classic Quiz feature?
2. Which APIs from the Classic Quiz feature would still work with the New Quiz feature?
3. Which APIs will be depreciated?
