safe exam browser not an option

I have a quiz that I gave last year that I'd like to use (again) tomorrow morning. I'm working to make it accessible using the Secure Exam Browser but the option doesn't present itself. My questions are:

1) Is it possible that I have to create this quiz in the "New Quiz" format (I can't tell what format it is in right now, but I don't want to convert it to New Quizzes if that is not an issue. How can I tell?)

2) What are some other reasons why the lockdown browser (SEB) would not appear as an option?

I know that you asked this quesetion on Sunday at about 11:50 PM ET and were looking for help today (Monday). Were you able to get help? If you have not, I do not believe anyone in the Canvas global community is able to help you with Secure Exam Browser (which is a third-party platform) and you should either work with your Canvas team or go to https://safeexambrowser.org/support_en.html.

Thank you so much for your timely reply. I appreciate your thoughts here very much. I don't think this particular issue is with SEB... I actually think it may have something to do with the way this particular quiz was made since I was reusing am old quiz instead of starting new. 

I have a repository of quizzes that I have used for 3 years now so I can't remember if they were made with New Quizzes or classic quizzes... If I recall correctly only one of those quiz types worked with SEB. 

The fact that this is the first quiz all year that hasn't offered the SEB option makes me wonder what I did on this particular quiz. A different quiz I gave last week worked just fine using SEB.

Any and all thoughts welcome!!

Hi Regina,

I wish I could help you but my institution does not use SEB. We use Respondus. Hopefully someone else in the Community can help or you can contact your institution's support.
